1. Boost Team Chemistry
Signing Wade to the Bucks is a low risk, high reward. Milwaukee’s new head coach in Mike Budenholzer will need all of the veteran talents that he can add. Budenholzer who was the former head coach of the Atlanta Hawks built an outstanding roster in Atlanta. (Although it fell apart over time)
Budenholzer is a product of Greg Popovich and implements a similar system. This year the 49-year-old coach will focus on changing the culture of the locker room. However, having Wade on his side will help him win over the players.
No matter how old D-Wade is, both young and old players have respect for the 2003 draft pick with the exception of Kevin Durant maybe. The man formerly known as the flash will help mold the younger players and push the starters. Not to mention if anyone suffers injury he can still step in the starting lineup.
Whatever the situation is Wade has seen it all and has overcome many obstacles. Even though neither party has shown interest, this would be an ideal move for a team that is only a piece and a half away from competing in the Eastern Conference finals. Let’s not forget that LeBron James is no longer in the east and anything can happen.
Do you think this will be D-Wade’s last season?
