Re-Signed Bryn Forbes: Two Year, Money Unknown

At this point in time, the amount of money the Spurs are giving Bryn Forbes has not been released. While that could change the outcome of this grade, more than likely he is getting between $4-7 million. If the deal is between that range, then the Spurs made a very good move.

Forbes is not talked about as being a quality role player, but he had some very nice performances for the Spurs last year. He ended the season averaging 6.9 points and 1.4 rebounds.

Tony Parker decided to leave the Spurs to sign with the Charlotte Hornets, which will open up more playing time for Forbes. He will likely be the backup point guard to Dejounte Murray. Forbes isn’t going to be the piece that powers to the Spurs back to the playoffs, but he is a quality backup guard.

His numbers will increase this season and bringing him back will end up looking like a great move for the Spurs.
