Re-Signed Davis Bertans: Two Years, $14.5 Million

San Antonio also decided to keep talented big man Davis Bertans on a two-year contract worth just over $7 million per season. At 25 years old, Bertans took a big step forward last season and began showing some of his full potential.

Bertans ended up playing in 77 regular season games and started 10 of them. He played just 14.1 minutes per game, but did have a few games where he was a key playmaker. In those appearances, Bertans averaged 5.9 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.

There is no telling what kind of role the Spurs will have for Bertans this season, but they obviously see him being a key role player moving forward with the contract that they gave him.
