According to NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the New York Knicks registered trade interest in Utah Jazz veterans Jordan Clarkson and Kelly Olynyk.

Knicks guard Quentin Grimes came up in discussions for Clarkson and Olynyk with the Jazz.

“Whatever team can get Clarkson will be a game changer,” an NBA scout told Scotto. “I think he’s the best of the volume scorers available on the trade market.”

Clarkson is averaging 17.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.1 blocks this season while shooting 42.1% from the field, 30.1% from beyond the arc and 88.7% from the free-throw line. He’s making $23.5 million in the final year of his contract.
