Why The Toronto Raptors Do The Deal 

A large number of Raptors fans are calling for the core of the team to be blown up. Is it a good idea? It is possible to make that argument.

As a team, the Raptors have underperformed in recent years. Having said that, there is still a lot of talent in this team. Pascal Siakam is still one of the best players in the world.

Jakob Poeltl was just re-signed by the Raptors as well. Meanwhile, they’ll be relying on Scottie Barnes to make a leap of faith in his third year with the team. 

Imagine if they were to add Lillard to that mix as well. As a result of this deal, the Raptors could be title contenders in the future.
