Yes, absolutely. As opposed to that, it’s time for the New York Knicks to go all-in on this season. Sure, the second round is nice. There was no doubt that the Knicks had a successful season this year.

It is important to note that Barrett’s performance was consistent despite his inconsistent play throughout the playoffs. In my opinion, that is a good reason to move on from him.

In the meantime, Toppin has been buried behind Julius Randle from the moment the Knicks selected him in the first round. It should not be a problem for them to move on from him this summer. 

That is especially true if he is helping them to bring in LaVine to the team. During this season, the Knicks have already had one of the best offenses in the NBA.
