Would you prefer one over the other? Is quality more important than quantity? This is a question that NBA teams need to ask themselves as well.
It is likely that most people will say quality. That’s fair. It is also important that you have enough at the same time.
In the NBA, it’s one thing to have the most talented trio in the league. A team in that position is in amazing shape.
There is still a need for quality players surrounding that trio of players on that team. Take a look at the Phoenix Suns for example.
It is possible that the trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal is the best that the NBA has to offer. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be much of a group around them.
Could the Suns trade Deandre Ayton to the Dallas Mavericks in order to help find that balance?
