Why The San Antonio Spurs Do The Deal 

This is a deal that the San Antonio Spurs do in order to add size to their team. We have already told you that. There is no fear of getting dirty on the low block for Jonas Valanciunas.

Valanciunas is considered to be one of the best bruisers in the league. Meanwhile, his limited lateral mobility will be offset by Victor Wembanyama. 

After all, the generational prospect is more than just a guy with an 8-foot wingspan. It’s also worth noting that he has surprisingly quick feet. As a result, he will be able to compensate for any limitations that Valanciunas has on that end of the floor. 

The Spurs are now able to run five-out spacing on the offensive end after adding Valanciunas. All in all, this seems to be the best pairing for San Antonio at the moment.
