Sure. They could still get Amen Thompson. Alternatively, the Pelicans could go with Cameron Whitmore. Either way, they’re adding an intriguing young player without Zion Williamson’s injury history. 

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets are taking a risk here. Williamson has been plagued by injuries more than any player in recent memory so far.

With that said, he’s looked the part of an MVP candidate when healthy.
