New Orleans Pelicans Receive: G Anfernee Simons, C Jusuf Nurkic, 2023 First-Round Pick (No. 3 – POR) 

This one would have to be a draft-day deal. The New Orleans Pelicans won’t make it unless the Charlotte Hornets actually do select Brandon Miller. 

After all, the Pelicans are in the Scoot Henderson market. Recently, it’s been widely suggested that they covet the young floor general. This deal has them getting their man. 

Of course, they’re sacrificing Brandon Ingram to get him. Those same rumors suggest that the Pelicans would prefer to move Zion Williamson. Sure. Would the Hornets prefer him? 

It’s hard to say. It seems like Charlotte wants a wing. Meanwhile, Williamson is highly injury prone.

If the Hornets insist on Ingram, the Pelicans may still consider making this deal.
