Brown is extremely reliable. In fact, he’s been a key piece in an NBA Finals run and an Eastern Conference Finals run in consecutive seasons. The Pelicans have proof of concept that Brown can help them win big.
He may not have Williamson’s MVP ceiling. Still, the Pelicans would be in a good situation following this deal.
