The NBA is a star-driven league. Philadelphia 76ers general manager Daryl Morey knows this well.
As a general manager, Morey has always chased stars. During his tenure with the Houston Rockets, Morey was willing to pay any price to land a star. No first-round pick was too valuable.
As the Sixers’ GM, Morey has had the same principles. In fact, he even chased the same star.
Morey brought James Harden to the Rockets, and then, he brought him to the Sixers.
Now, Harden may be leaving Morey. Rumors have suggested that he’s considering rejoining the Rockets in free agency this summer. If he does, the Sixers will be in some trouble.
Would adding DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls offset that trouble?
