Why The New York Knicks Do The Deal 

Frankly, this does get a little messy for New York. 

After all, they’ve already got Julius Randle at the 4. They could move Siakam to the 5, but Mitchell Robinson has been great at that position. What should they do? 

Take the deal and sort it out later. Perhaps the Knicks could move Siakam to the 3 and play jumbo ball. Alternatively, they could trade one of Robinson or Randle.

The Knicks will figure it out. More than anything, this is a talent grab. If they can find the right arrangement, the Knicks could turn into title contenders following this deal.
