The Toronto Raptors have become synonymous with NBA trade rumors recently. 

It started when they were clearly falling short of expectations this season. Around the trade deadline, the Raptors were widely expected to make meaningful moves. They did not. 

This summer, people are looking at them again. In particular, folks are wondering if the Raptors might trade for the Portland Trail Blazers’ third overall pick.

If Portland wants to make a win-now move, the Raptors could facilitate it. 

On the other hand, the Raptors will have plenty of options. If Portland decides to keep the pick or make another deal, that doesn’t mean Toronto can’t find a trade.

In fact, Pascal Siakam should find a robust market if he’s available.
