Why The Indiana Pacers Do The Deal 

Well, the Pacers are in a different position. They don’t have win-now pressure. 

In fact, the Pacers have the seventh overall pick in the NBA draft. This team is going to be giving developmental minutes to young players next season. 

Why not give some to Barrett? Sure, he’s fallen short of expectations at times in his career. He’s still flashed potential. Barrett is a well-rounded player who does his damage in a number of ways.
