Of course they should. This is Joel Embiid. He was just given the league’s MVP award.

There’s almost no limit on what the Knicks should give up for Embiid. He’s one of the best players in the entire league. 

He’ll be a good fit here as well. On the offensive end, Embiid instantly becomes the Knicks’ first option. He may thrive alongside a guard like Jalen Brunson – unlike Harden, he’s a capable off-ball player.

Julius Randle will be another quality co-star for Embiid. His ability to space the floor and make plays for others will be a nice compliment to Embiid’s elite inside game.

If he hits the open market, the Knicks need to aggressively pursue him. If nothing else, they could be the greatest show on earth.
