We’re not saying Miami is better without Herro. Who knows? If he’d been available, perhaps they would have defeated the Celtics in less than 7 games.
With that said, it is obvious that the Heat don’t need Herro. With that in mind, trading him for a win-now upgrade makes sense. That’s exactly what theyre doing here.
