Indiana Pacers

Indiana Pacers Receive: 2023 First-Round Pick (No. 12 – OKC), 2024 First-Round Pick (LAC via OKC)
Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: 2023 First-Round Pick (No. 7 – IND)

If you’re looking to make a smaller jump, you’ll only have to give up a smaller package. That’s what the Thunder are doing here.

Realistically, this deal could come down to each team’s evaluation of two prospects. We’ve got Jarace Walker and Taylor Hendricks on the mind here.

These are likely the two best defensive forwards in the draft. Walker is typically mocked higher due to his higher offensive ceiling. Perhaps the Thunder will covet him.

Meanwhile, the Pacers could be content with Hendricks and a future asset. This may be a draft-day deal.

If Walker is on the board at 7, and the Pacers are just as happy with Hendricks, this could be an option.

With that said, could the Thunder trade up and land a future asset at the same time?
