On the other hand, they’ve gotten this far without Tyler Herro. Some are suggesting that Miami is better off without the young volume scorer. If the front office agrees, they could move him regardless of their season’s outcome. 

Why not move him for a player like Zach LaVine? He provides much of what Herro does, only on a  higher level.
