Are Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves heading for a trade divorce during the NBA offseason?
We don’t know for certain. Unfortunately, the warning signs are there. All too often, a divorce starts with a breach of trust.
It seems that the Wolves broke Towns’ this summer. Apparently, he was not aware that they were going to trade for Rudy Gobert and change his position.
That feels like something they could have kept him on the loop on. It’s too late now. Of course, we don’t know whether Towns was OK with the decision.
It’s entirely possible that he was, and the Timberwolves will run it back next season.
