Towns may struggle to defend the rim. His struggles guarding the perimeter are even more significant. That’s what he’s been forced to attempt to do alongside Rudy Gobert. 

By contrast, few 4s in the NBA guard the perimeter as well as Jaden McDaniels. Pairing him with Rudy Gobert in the frontcourt could give the Wolves one of the league’s best defenses. 

Meanwhile, LaVine and Edwards would make quite a tandem. The combined explosiveness of the two should overwhelm opponents.
