Why The Chicago Bulls Do The Deal 

Obviously, the Bulls wouldn’t be doing this deal to substantiate what they already have. They’re trading Zach LaVine. 

For the Bulls, this is about the future. They’re deciding that moving forward, they’ll want a defensive big. That’s the purpose of acquiring Robinson. 

After all, he’s only 25. Robinson is young enough to be part of a rebuild.

Moreover, he claims to have more offense in his game than he’s been able to show in New York. If he does, this could be a steal for the Bulls.
