Why The Milwaukee Bucks Do The Deal

Of course, the Bucks aren’t trying to win popularity contests. They’re trying to win NBA championships.

In fact, they accomplished that goal recently. The Bucks were the 2020-21 NBA champions. This organization accomplished the ultimate goal by building a team full of elite two-way players.

With that said, they’ve fallen drastically short of expectations over the last two seasons. The Bucks may need a shot-creating guard who can create for himself in half-court sets – even at the expense of defense.

Hence, this trade. Poole has more potential as a half-court bucket-getter than the aging Holiday. Meanwhile, he’s much younger.
