Finally, the case for the Suns to pursue Brooks is much simpler. They need good players – full stop.
We’ve seen that in their series with the Denver Nuggets. The Suns lack depth. They sent key rotation players out in order to bring Kevin Durant into the mix.
Brooks would be a good addition from that point of view. In fact, he could be this team’s sixth man. Brooks’ wild shot selection may not lend to as much inefficiency against second units.
Even if it does, this is a useful player. The Suns need useful players. They will be in championship or bust mode.
