This one was almost too easy. The Cavaliers need a wing. They’ve been needing a wing for some time. Brooks, to state the obvious, is a wing. 

He may not be the perfect addition. Floor spacing was a problem for Cleveland in this year’s playoffs. Adding Brooks does little to address that problem. 

On the other hand, he should give Cleveland the best defensive frontcourt in the NBA.

Pairing him with Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley should make the Cavaliers dominant on that end of the floor.

Still, if Brooks’ shooting scares them off, they may not be the right suitor. 

With that in mind, this next team shouldn’t be too concerned with that.
