Why The Washington Wizards Do The Deal 

Well, this one doesn’t take a rocket scientist. The Wizards are getting by far the most talented player in this deal. 

Say what you will about Irving. We’ve certainly been critical enough. Still, this is absolutely one of the most talented players in the NBA. 

Frankly, he should be the best player on this Wizards team. That’s no small feat, either.

Bradley Beal is a star scorer, and if Washington can re-sign Kristaps Porzingis in free agency, they’ll have plenty of offense in their frontcourt alongside Kyle Kuzma.

That actually sounds like a very good NBA team. The Wizards should be much improved following this deal, provided that Irving will stay on the floor.
