Around the NBA, there are teams that need changes. Teams need changes because they fell short of expectations. Those expectations even vary. For some teams, the bar is extremely high.
For example, take the Milwaukee Bucks. This team was supposed to be competing for the NBA title. With that in mind, a first-round exit was well short of expectations.
With that said, the Dallas Mavericks didn’t even make the playoffs. Given their circumstances, that’s somewhat understandable.
The Mavericks only acquired Kyrie Irving at the trade deadline. This team didn’t have time to develop the chemistry they needed.
Regardless, it’s obvious the Mavericks need to add more talent around Luka Doncic and Irving if they are serious about winning at a high level. Among their needs is an upgrade on the wing.
Could they acquire Khris Middleton in a sign and trade this summer?
