Milwaukee Bucks Receive: G/F Paul George

Frankly, this season’s first round has been full of surprises. The Clippers hardly even register as one. Even at full health, it wouldn’t have shocked anyone if they’d lost to the Phoenix Suns.

Given the injury, they had very little chance of winning this series. The midseason addition of Russell Westbrook proved to help keep it more respectable, but they had a bleak outlook.

The Bucks’ situation is a little different. This team was not supposed to lose to the Miami Heat. Nobody predicted this would happen. Giannis Antetokounmpo went down midway through the series but still managed to return to game action. It wasn’t enough.

Perhaps we underestimated Jimmy Butler. He gave a historic performance in this first round. He played an incredible series on both ends, proving to be the best player on the floor.
