It is certainly not too early to speculate about what the future holds for the Portland Trail Blazers.
If we hadn’t speculated about them for months, we might just be too late to the game – if we hadn’t been speculating about them for so long. There is every reason to believe that there is a good chance that the Blazers will blow up their core this summer.
In the end, they did not make it to the playoffs this season. Last season, they were unable to make it to the playoffs. This is becoming a trend in Portland.
It’s highly unlikely that Lillard is satisfied with this situation. It is possible that the Blazers will put together a better team around him this summer.
