As a matter of fact, the Philadelphia 76ers are the only team in this year’s NBA playoffs to sweep a team in the first round of the playoffs. This is why their fans may not necessarily be happy to hear about them being mentioned in trade rumors.
Fair enough. Let’s give the Sixers a chance to breathe. There is a possibility that this team could win the NBA title this season. It is unlikely that they will make any substantial changes this summer if they do so.
Additionally, they were able to sweep the Brooklyn Nets at the same time. It was not built for them to be able to beat these Sixers. The Nets lacked their level of shot creation, and they lacked the size to handle Joel Embiid.
Moreover, it is possible that James Harden will leave this team anyway. There has been a great deal of speculation that he might be considering leaving the team to return to the Houston Rockets.
There is a possibility that this may or may not happen. If it does happen, the Sixers will need to do what they can to replace him with an adequate co-star for Embiid.
Is it possible for the Sixers to trade for Damian Lillard in such a situation?
