In recent NBA seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the more interesting teams to watch. There have been many ups and downs, to say the least.
Would you consider this to be a premier destination? Is it a poorly run organization? Yes, yes, and yes again. There is a lot of complexity surrounding the Lakers.
There has been a remarkable ability on the part of LeBron James to extend his prime. The man in question is 38 years old and still looks as spry as he ever did.
To that end, it must be said that it was always a questionable decision to pair him with Russell Westbrook in the first place.
There is no way that James and a poor shooting playmaker would make sense together on paper, after all. As a result, the Lakers were able to move on from Westbrook this season and improve their roster in the process.
This summer, would they be able to pair James with another subpar shooter in DeMar DeRozan?
