Sometimes, NBA teams find themselves in the same situation. For example, if either the Atlanta Hawks or the Los Angeles Clippers get sent home in the first round of this year’s playoffs, they may have to make some major decisions.
Given that both the Clippers and Hawks are staring down 3-1 series deficits to their respective first-round opponent, it seems like all but a formality that both teams will be eliminated in short order.
