It would be too early to write an NBA eulogy for the Golden State Warriors. Yes, they’re down 2-0 against the Sacramento Kings. It’s not looking good.
So far, the Kings have overwhelmed the defending champions with their offense. With that said, the Warriors could easily stage a comeback.
The Kings are the home team. It’s been said that a playoff series doesn’t start until somebody wins on the road.
Time will tell. Still, if the Warriors do lose in the first round of this year’s playoffs, who knows what they might do this summer?
Draymond Green, who put the Warriors in a tough spot in Game 2 after yet another ejection, could be a candidate for the team to move on from.
