Kristaps Porzingis and the New York Knicks got off on the wrong foot. On NBA Draft night, Knicks fans boo’ed the team’s choice to select Porzingis in the lottery.
In time, they came to accept him. Porzingis proved worthy of his selection.
With that said, the front office didn’t see him as worth building around. The Knicks moved Porzingis after just a few seasons in the Big Apple. They didn’t think he was a franchise player.
They were probably right. With that said, Porzoingis has proven himself to be an excellent co-star in Washington.
In fact, he’s having a career year in the nation’s capital.
Could he find his way back to the Knicks this summer?
