Of course, there’s a reason that plans are so difficult to make. Life may have other plans. 

The NBA is no exception. A front office may have certain expectations for a season. Unfortunately, there are numerous factors that can get in the way of those expectations. 

For example, injuries can disrupt a team’s plans. It doesn’t matter how strong your roster is. If your best player gets injured, it’s going to adversely affect your year. 

We’re not saying that’s the only reason the Hornets have struggled in 2022-23. Still, the time LaMelo Ball has missed has not helped.
