Why The Denver Nuggets Do The Deal  

Realistically, it’s fair to question whether Denver is a place Brown would like to call home as well. 

Let’s never mind that. We can assume that any team trading for Brown won’t pull the trigger unless they know he’s open to an extension. Plus, the idea of playing alongside Nikola Jokic may appeal to him. 

After all, the two should be a perfect pair. Brown has never played alongside a natural distributor like Jokic.

Sure, Jokic has played with a shot creator on Brown’s level in Murray, but he hasn’t played with one who doubled as a plus defender.

That’s very crucial for Denver here. Jokic is notoriously weak on the defensive end. Brown will be of great service. All told, this is the type of win-now push the Nuggets should consider this summer.
