Why The Brooklyn Nets Do The Deal
Some Nets fans will hate this move. We understand.
They will have reservations about a rebuilding decision. After all, this team owes its first-round picks, whether outright or via swap, to the Houston Rockets for the next half-decade. How can they rebuild without their own picks?

More broadly, the Nets have an odd roster at the moment. This team is stacked with quality defenders, but even Bridges isn’t a strong enough offensive player to lead them to a championship.
