Time is money. It’s one of our two most precious commodities. NBA teams are well aware of the value of time.
You could have all the money in the world. If you don’t have time, what’s the point? Why put yourself in a position where you can afford to buy things that you won’t have time to enjoy?
Once they’re in a position to contend for an NBA title, the clock starts ticking. If they don’t win one in their window, time will run out.
We’re not saying that time is running out for the Boston Celtics. We’re simply saying that it might be. Jaylen Brown will be in a contract year next season.
If the Celtics haven’t won a title, there’s no assurance that they’ll keep him.
