Of course, there’s a cost to the type of success the Warriors have had. It’s a substantial financial cost. 

This core is about to get expensive. Jordan Poole’s extension kicks in next season, and the Warriors already have big money tied to Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Something may have to give. 

It might be Wiggins. Granted, he’s developed into one of the best 3-and-D wings in the NBA in recent years. The Warriors won’t give him away for anything. 

That’s not what they’re doing here. Martin is a superb athlete who’s flashed plenty of potential on the Rockets.
