New Orleans Pelicans Receive: G Jordan Poole 

As a matter of fact, the Warriors’ blueprint is one that the New Orleans Pelicans would love to follow as well. 

Then again, perhaps it’s too late to do anything about it. In order to achieve greatness, the Pelicans won’t be able to follow in the exact footsteps of the Warriors. After all, they already drafted Zion Williamson. 

As far as Williamson is concerned, it would be hard to describe him as a steal. In the history of the NBA, he was one of the most anticipated prospects. Despite the hype, it’s hard to tell if he’s lived up to it so far. 

When he is healthy, he certainly has the ability to do so. Sadly, it is a far too rare event for that to happen on a regular basis.

Unless Williamson stays healthy for a long period of time, the Pelicans will have trouble reaching the level of the Warriors in terms of winning. However, adding another shot creator wouldn’t hurt their pursuit of such status.
