Why The New York Knicks Do The Deal 

It would be a great addition to this team to have George on board. There’s no surprise there – he’s a perfect complement to any team, and he’ll certainly make it stronger. 

The fact of the matter is that George may have the shot-making ability of a superstar. There is a lot more to him than just that. The best thing about George is that when he does not have the ball, he is an elite 3-and-D wing. 

A player like that would make a great addition to the Knicks’ lineup alongside Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson. The Knicks might be on the verge of becoming a contender if George is able to lift his team from a scrappy playoff team to a contender on the fringes. 

Will they be able to win the title as a result of this deal? The chances of that happening are slim. Even so, after missing out on so many superstars, the Knicks would surely be happy to finally land one after having missed out on so many.
