The aging of players is another factor that complicates NBA predictions. Obviously, we can all predict that the aging process will eventually catch up with the players.

It is inevitable that this will happen. The problem with predicting when the event will take place is that it is practically impossible to do so. 

In the meantime, if you were told by a psychic that the Heat would be struggling this season, you would probably predict that it was as a result of Jimmy Butler’s aging. It would be a reasonable assumption to make that assumption. 

In addition, it would also be wrong to do so. There is no issue here – Butler is playing up to his usual standard – that’s not the problem here.

In spite of this, the Heat need to close this season strong if they hope to fulfill the expectations that people had for them at the beginning of the season. 

If they are unable to do so, is this the right move for them to make?
