There are times when you just need to go home and relax. Other times, you may need to leave home for a while. It is almost a given that every NBA player will leave home at some point in their career.

There is a saying that says everyone should leave their hometown at least once in their lives. It may be true that that is the case.

It is possible that you may be called to return at some point in the future. 

It is exceedingly rare for a person to be drafted by their hometown and spend their entire career there. We are not even sure if it has ever been done before.
