This would be a risky move for the Celtics. It’s certainly an all-in push. 

After all, this team made the NBA Finals last season. They’re arguably the best team in the league again. Why swap a 25-year-old star for a 34-year-old? 

Simple. That 34-year-old is Kevin Durant. The Celtics have great championship odds at the moment. If they do this deal, they’ll be overwhelming favourites to win it all. 

Sure, there are ways that this could go wrong. If Durant gets injured, the Celtics could be left with serious regrets.
