Why The Los Angeles Clippers Do The Deal 

I think it’s fair to say that the Clippers do this deal because Sexton is a better player than Morris. There is no question about it.

There haven’t been any signs that they are on the path to contention this season, so far. It has been a difficult season for this team due to injuries.

There will be some who would hold that they shouldn’t be dealing a first-round pick with such an uncertain future, they should not be in the business of trading them. 

There is a difference of opinion between us. There is no doubt that this team has the talent to contend. There is a need for better injury luck for them. It is still possible for the Clippers to win an NBA championship if they are able to find it.
