The NBA Draft is like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to find. 

Pardon the reference. Still, the analogy is apt. Teams exhaust their resources scouting the league’s incoming prospects. Sometimes, they get them wrong anyway. 

For example, look at the Orlando Magic’s Jalen Suggs. He was seen as a top 3 pick candidate heading into the draft.

When the Toronto Raptors took Scottie Barnes ahead of him with the fourth overall selection, people were stunned. 

As it turns out, the Raptors made the right call. Barnes was the Rookie of the Year. Meanwhile, Suggs is still struggling to find his way as a sophomore.
