Like the last deal, it just makes too much sense. The Los Angeles Lakers, like the Golden State Warriors, need to be more competitive than they’ve been. In fact, their need is even direr – this team won’t be making a selection in the upcoming draft.
This deal ought to mean that they won’t need to. Myles Turner is the perfect floor-spacing, rim-protecting big man to pair with LeBron James.
For that matter, Buddy Hield is one of the best floor spacers in the NBA.
