Dallas Mavericks Receive: G Zach LaVine 

For much of this season, Zach LaVine hasn’t looked quite right. 

Perhaps it’s been the Chicago Bulls’ disappointing season. Alternatively, he may not like playing second fiddle to an aging DeMar DeRozan. Either way, a recent 41-point explosion suggests that he’s still got it. 

Would LaVine be content playing second fiddle to Luka Doncic on the Dallas Mavericks? It’s hard to say, but one thing is certain: it ought to be more palatable than taking a backseat to DeRozan.

The two would make for one of the best offensive duos in the NBA.

Which, of course, DeRozan and LaVine do not. That partly explains the Bulls’ struggles this season. Given how poorly they’ve played, many around the league see them blowing up their core as a distinct possibility. You might even say it’s likely.
