Atlanta could be a perfect landing spot for him. The Hawks could use a better third offensive option behind their backcourt of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray. Kuzma ought to be the man for the job. 

On Washington’s end, this deal has as much to do with Johnson as it does Collins. If they decide to rebuild, they’ll be happy to land the sophomore point forward.

On the other hand, if Collins proves a better fit than Kuzma, they could pivot into win-now mode as well.
