Desperate times call for desperate measures. We’ve all been there, especially if you’re in an NBA front office.

Sometimes, a problem seems unsolvable. When it does, you may try to do something crazy – you may feel like you’ve tried everything else. 

Sometimes, NBA teams get desperate too. If a team is in win-now mode, and they just aren’t winning, it may be time to try something desperate. 

The Los Angeles Lakers have got to be desperate. At 17-21, this team is at risk of missing out on the play-in tournament again this year.
